We had a nice first day of vacation. After our traditional driveway photo we headed down I-96 in search of fun and adventure. Thanks to a couple minor detours courtesy of an inaccurate AAA Trip-Tik, we pulled into the Hampton Inn in Indianapolis at 6:30pm. Our only stops (other than the one to stare at the map on the side of the road) were for a quick photo at the Indiana state line, and a nice dinner at Cracker Barrel. Our hotel is nice, and the indoor pool was refreshing. Dessert was Cold Stone Creamery, a routine sure to be repeated several times over the next 15 days. Tomorrow we visit the happiest place on earth...
Once again, Justin and Joshua are spotting license plates. Today they saw Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Pennsyslvannia, Wisconson, Oregon, Florida, Maine, Iowa, Virginia, Missouri, New York, Tennessee and Ontario, Canada.
